I love watching business related content - and I realised I love it even more if it contains cross-cultural conflicts and resolution.
This documentary on Netflix hit me pretty deep. The scenes of 2 cultures - United States and China working together at Fuyao Glass America really took me on a thought-provoking journey.
Perhaps the scene that hit me the hardest is the Chairman's final scene, where he reflects back on his life. I could tell they were words from the bottom of his heart which has endured centuries of hard work.
American Factory also shows a glimpse of where capitalism is taking our society towards. I won't drop any words that might spoil your experience. I do suggest you check it out if your interests are similar to mine.
I would give this film an 8 out of 10.
